Default Is it normal to smell gas while driving in older cars?

Sometimes while driving in my 73 mustang i come across smelling gas. This smell makes me sick most of the time so i roll down all windows. While doing about 75-80mph i can smell gas more what can i do to stop smell ?

Unless the exhaust leak fairy stops by your house and magically fixes it, yes it will cost money.

How much depends on how bad the leak is and wether or not a weld or part replacement and weld are needed. Don't wait for the exhaust leak fairy, go get it looked at.

Pretty sure the exhaust leak fairy is chilling with the detailing fairy because shes been slacking at cleaning my car

haha well it wont cost a thing if u stop breathing. if it so bad it is making u sick then you need to get that fixed asap.

if its a gas smell its not and exaust leak.....could be a gasket leak by carb or manifold or could be in the need of a tune
