Default 1985 Mustang, clutch made a snap noise and now doesn't work

i stoped at a light tryed to let off the clutch i heard a snap and now i have no clutch at all is it a clutch cable? if so anyone no where it is on the car

yup did it a few times on mine... cable snapped it goes from the clutch quadrant under the dash to the clutch fork under the trans. not to hard to replace

follow the cable that goes from your clutch pedal to the trans,thats your clutch cable

Sounds like the cable snapped for sure. Time to upgrade to a quality 3 piece adjustable set up.
