Red face 1985 Mustang rough idle and low oil pressure issue

Got in my car today it ran ok (alittle off cuz of rain) all of a sudden if back fired and now wont idle and leeps backfiring and at idle oil pressure goes down 10 pounds... and idles at 1300 rpm idk what it is

Well obviously, you're gonna have to check and see if water got into somewhere. I'd check the gas tank area very throughly. Bad gas or water in the gas will cause your engine to have all sorts of issues

The distributor cap fell off and made it backfire causing the carb to blow
