Default 91 lx wont start only clicking

Car was running fine a day ago go to go for a little ride in the nice weather and the car wont start. The Volts are reading about normal but when i turn the key all i get is a clicking noise . Thoughts? I dont think its a bad battery because as far as i can tell the voltage is reading the same as it always does.

check the started solenoid. jump the 2 big lugs with a screw driver and see if it cranks, that will bypass the solenoid if it does its a bad solenoid. also make sure there is no loose positive or negative terminals and make sure the ground cable is good.

Probably a starter solenoid but could be a starter, connection, or even an ignition switch issue

Okay so I got a jump and the car started right up. the voltage before the jump was 11.5 so I figured dead battery. so then to be sure I killed the motor then went to restart it and got nothing. then all of a sudden the ignition wouldn't give the car any power my autometer volt gauge would read twelve and I went to turn on the headlights and volts stop to zero. I am thoroughly confused as the solenoid starter alternator and ignition are all less than 2 month old. the ignition was a cheap one so maybe that has something to do with it?

It is a battery issue. If you have a digital multi meter, check the battery with the car off. If it reads 12.4 volts or better, have someone go to start the car. Check the voltage while it is attempting to be started...

It most likely won't start without a jump, so once the car is jumped and running check the battery again. The voltage should be no less than 13.8 volts... this is your charging system voltage. If it is around 12.6volts or anything in that area you have a bad alternator as well.
