Default Aluminum radiator & electric fan

Im looking into a new setup as I dont like the water pump driven design, and I would like to keep the big motor 180 all the time.

I am looking into Ron Davis and Be Cool, do you guys have any other suggestions for me? Is anyone selling anything that I might be interested in?

dont bother with buy one of those aftermarket fans they are way too expensive. i grabbed an electric fan out of a 91 3.8 taurus for 25 bucks and it pulls more than 5000cfm on high. i have never had to run the high speed on the fan only the low and it cooled my car down to 190* when it was 108* out one day.

Ron Davis quoted me a price for an aluminum rad and electric fan set up at 931.00 plus shipping.

Kyle, you think that the Taurus fan would be good enough with a 3 row brass rad? How did you hook up the electric as far as on off and does the fan come on with your a/c?

John check this writeup... seems very easy, and all you'd have to do is hook up a thermostatic switch to the Taurus fan and that's it...

I read it over and like the idea of the control box, but I'm gonna take kyle's advice and use a oe Ford fan. Like the rims, I'd prefer to use something Ford made to last over 100k miles.

Exactly my point:

Buy a genuine FoMoCo fan and just grab one of those controllers and make it work!

There are not many mods left for me to do......its basically a blower and fuel system lol. Everything but the glass has been replaced, and that too will be changed within a year or so. Then I sell it and start again

i have mine wired through a relay to a switch inside my car and i would flip it on as needed. most of the time i never drove with the fan on in 90*+ weather. if i was sitting in traffic i would turn it on or if i happen to be at a traffic light for a while and i only have a heavy duty 2 core brass radiator so a 3 core brass would be even better.
