Default Complete restoration

Hello everyone. I am trying to figure out a whole new setup for my stang and i was not sure what should be done. I want to rebuild the whole motor and i was just trying to figure out what would be better either a supercharger or a turbo/twin turbos, which top end kit would be better for either of those. Should I use nitrous? what is the difference between wet/dry nitrous and which would be better if you suggest using it? Thanks

welcome!

first off... I'm guessing by the "02" in your user name I'm guessign your car is an 02?
If Its a modular v-8 then if you want to use nitrous then you want to look into getting a metal intake manifold as the stock plastic units are known to blow up under any sort of nitrous backfire... I don't really know what the differences between a dry shot and wet shot are but I'm sure someone can chime in.

also if you want to go twin turbo on a 2v modular(and youre already rebuilding it) take some money and make sure you get forged rods and pistons...

If you are going to be reusing stock components, try to stay under 400whp... that seems to be the magic number for the stock pistons/rods...

A wet nitrous kit mixes nitrous and enrichment fuel by means of an injector nozzle that is mounted before the throttle body. This mixture is then drawn into the engine through the throttle body and intake manifold. A "dry" nitrous kit injects only nitrous with it’s injector while at the same time, increasing the engine’s fuel rail pressure to feed enrichment fuel through the engine’s own injectors.

I dont own an 02 mustang...its just my username...i own a 1990 GT 5.0 H.O.. but what would you guys suggest doing, a supercharger or single/twin turbos? What kind of bottom end would be best for either setup or which bottom end can i use that will be strong enough for the motor? Should i get a new block or can i use the stock block in the car? If i were to use a top end kit from Ford Racing, Trick Flow, or Holley which one do you think would be best? I really appreciate the help. Thanks guys
