Talking Looking at an 87 GT. What to look for?

Hey all, a great friend of mine is looking to get into mustangs! He's looking at a red 1987 GT that a friend of his owns. The car apparently had a new motor put in and also has another crate motor that will come with it when purchased. I offered to go with him to take a look at it and see if it looks reliable.

Is there anything in particular that I should look out for on this car?

Thanks

Torque boxes, wiring, wrinkles in the body above the quarter window. check the rad support for how straight it is. Rust to check the bottems of the doors and the hatch on the bottom and around the trim. Boy i can go on all day.

Bro, bring someone who has owned at least 3-5 fox bodies in their time. Guys that know about new mustangs know dick about fox cars and vice versa. I have no desire to own a 94 and up mustang and most fox guys feel the same way. new engine means shit. where is it from? whats done to it? like Dan said, we could go one for days
