I am looking at purchasing the QA-1 k member kit and need some help with selecting spring rate. the car will be mostly street since its a vert and dont want to put a roll cage in just yet and i am putting a 302 in. the spring rates for this kit are 12-250, 12-350, 14-130, 14-150, and 14-175. also if anyone has any info on doing the rear since that will be next that would be great thanks.

Well 130 150 175 are all drag racing spring rates. Softer spring for more weight transfer. I don't know all that much about coil overs on a very but theres a lot of small details that go into selecting a well working suspension set up. I would probably call them and ask them for their opinion.

With that said, are you set on the qa1? I've heard they move the wheels forward and sometimes fitment is an issue. I have an aje and I love it. There are no bent tubes everything is triangulated for rigidity, they don't move the wheels and you can opt to run stock spring set up if you really desire

do you know what size wheels have the fitment issue? i liked the QA1 because of the price. I dont like to skimp on price but i also dont want to spend a million dollars either. the other thing i forgot to mention was that my car was originally a 2.3 so it has all 4 cyl suspension. i know some people like using the stock 4 cyl suspension but there are alot of the typical s**ty nj roads around me so i want to avoid any clearence problems

I will trade you those 4 cyl springs for fms c springs. Haha I'm trying to find a set of 4 banger front springs for a bit now. As far as fitment, I think it varies so much car to car as these cars were not built like watches and he tolerances are anything but tight

all the springs for the fox are the same size right? i know people put the 4cyl springs on the gt's so if i pick up a set of lowering springs for a 5.0 vert they will fit right?

Call Dave at Team Z. Their metal matrix kmember isn't that expensive and it's a GREAT product. You also get great support when making decisions like the spring rate as when you call there Dave - THE OWNER will answer the phone.

Just put my 4th Team Z kmember on a car (my own) and just like the previous 3 it bolted right on with NO issues.
