Default need a t-5 trans for my 85 fox

hey guys i was wondering if anyone new were i could find a new rebuilt or working t-5 i recently was coming home from whiskeys meet and i blew first gear and it caused me to have a panic attack i got a quote for 1800 but dont have that much now. just let me no thanks

That's a bit high. I hve seen t5 trannys for 1200 new. You should try a junkyard for a used one. In a few months mine will be for sale as I am installing a t56

i know of a low milage 85 t5. it was a take out in the late 80s from a wreck. i have the motor,bell, flywheel from it. i think he wants 400$ write back if your interested and ill get you guys in touch with each other.

Take a look on craigslist, I saw some about a week ago. I think I have a link at home for a rebuilt t5 for like $700. Dont quote me ill check when I get home. Good luck

That's high you can buy brand new from am for close to that price and get a warranty

i got my T5 from astroperformance.com. the t5 i got is rebuilt using their parts and good to handle 500ft lbs tq and only cost me $1100. i absolutely love the way it shifts and feels its awesome.
