Default 98 mustang gt convertible mods

I recently bought a 98 mustang gt convertible.

We had to remove the blinker and flasher controller and pull it apart and clean all of the green deposits off the copper.

We had to tighten the transmission lines at the radiator as who ever installed the new radiator never did.

I ordered a set of front seat belts from prestige mustang since the passenger side belt was non operatonial.

It is going in for a new top on monday to a guy Al Gold in Atlantic county.

I have to order a set of odometer gears since the odometer doesnt work I am assuming thats it since all the other gauges work including the speedometer.

I put the American Thunder flowmaster cat back exhaust on with the 40 series 2 chamber mufflers ( not much louder but the old exhaust was rotted).

Installed a new lower hinge on the driver side door.

I am trying to decide if I should put a catted (high flow) x pipe on?

Possibly a BBK cold air intake, larger MAF meter, Professional products 54155 upper intake plenum and a BBK throttle body. Any ideas on upgrades and what I have listed?

I want to keep the entire car as stock as possible.

Oh wow seems like you've done alot to it. If you want to make the exhaust tone darker, I'd stay you should definitely add the catted x-pipe. Adding the BBK and all those other intake products will definitely help your car performance-wise....it give you much better throttle response while still keeping it relatively stock.

The steering feels heavy or dead to me, it does not return on its own like my Dodge Charger R/T or my Dodge truck. I don't know how I feel about the steering this way especially if my daughter drives it. Can anyone comment on what the steering should feel like?

I am gonna take it to the alignment shop down the street to see if the toe is off enough to cause it. The steering is very straight and doesn't pull either direction but ya never know the toe could be out enough to deaden the wheel. I will see what they say.
