02 gt sound system identification?

so i have an 02 gt with a mach sound system. I need to fix one of the buzzing speakers and look at new subs, but the problem is there's a new stereo head on it. is there any other way to identify which sound system it is?

what do you mean which sound system? its a mach 460 right?

theres the 460 and the other one, i dont remember the number. i was told there were two mach systems i might have

It should be a 460. There should be tags on the tweeters on the doors and on the sub covers through the back window.

Is it buzzing all the time or just on start up?

Is the buzzing coming from the subs or the 4x6's in the back I have the same buzzing sound in my 04

the lower passenger sub is buzzing almost 24/7.

There's a interference some were then so the subs aren't in the truck there in the door does in have a after
Market radio in it that might be the problem were are you located at I may be able to help you if your not to far I live in Sayreville

Both my 99 and 02 had this problem... I assumed they were blown. Perhaps not?

There are subs in the trunk/rear deck, as well all the subs are 6x8s. The interference maybe from the radio if it is a higher output head unit. The factory amps have filters built in which may also be your issue.

Do you have any sound/bass from the buzzing sub?

Do you have 10" sub box in your trunk? I'm not sure when the Mach 1000 started but it's another possible system, but same issues.

i dont have any box in the trunk, just the subs on the rear deck. sorry, the speaker i meant was the one on the lower part of the passenger door. i have sound coming through, just buzzing. alot. of buzzing.
and its only that side
