Default 3.73 gears or stage 2 comp camshafts or both for my mustang

Im thinking about getting 3.73 gears for my stang after hearing what alex had to say about how they make his car performed with them im also maybe considering camshafts mainly for sound what do you guys think is it worth it to get both or one or the other?

Depends what gears your coming from. I believe Mach 1s had 3.55s which would make 3.73s a waste of time in my opinion. If you want nasty do 4.10s. Cams are always a good thing unless you just want them for sound... then i disapprove

You will definitly see a huge difference with the 4.10s from 3.55. See the reason the 3.73s were a huge difference for me bc I was coming from 2.73s. However I hope your car is not your DD bc if so say goodbye to anything that's left of decent MPG Id u go with 4.10s

and as far as gears go you need a shop who has experience in doing that as well like Mr.Noodley on the forum he has done a few of the members here and they all are happy with the results
