Default 5.4 4v Questions vs 5.4 2V

I have a chance to get a 5.4 4v from a Nav. missing the intake and valve covers. I have an 99 GT 4.6 2v

How many other parts am i going to need for this mod?
Would i be better off getting a 5.4 2v ?

I need to start this project asap

Anyone local ever done this mod?

It's doable.

you'll need a few parts and you'll need to widen the midpie to fit the wider deck of the block.

There are writeups everywhere that will answer much better than I can, but basically its not a backyard weekend job and a little fabbing will be required.

After digging a little bit i found that the 2V is an easy swap vs the 4V. Seems to be a few more parts made for them. I did find a guy in FL that makes a complete kit with engine for $6K for the 4V

If you go 2v which is an easier fit you can eventually get the tricklow heads which are very good heads and it is a much easier swap. Tracking down intakes for the 4v is quite difficult while the 2v is not too difficult.
