Default 99-04 Coolant leaking out of plastic tubing.

Probably the main Reason why Janice's car didn't make it out to Carlisle.

We finally found the tube leaking coolant all over the place and it seems to have a small hole....worst part is that Ford doesn't make this part (XR3Z9S477CA) anymore...then we find out this tube isn't suppose to have coolant in it...so something else is going on...a leaking gasket. W

Shawn has been helping us get to the problem and fix it but just felt like posting this up incase anyone else has had this problem or a similar one....

I have a solution for the tubing using a rubber tube with 2 lips like the one this one has attached to it.

Is that a coolant hose?

If thats a PCV vent tube or something in that area you're in big trouble...

What symptoms was the car experiencing?

in all honestly I am not sure. I google the part number, and it comes up as exhaust air tube or something like that...I assume for the egr

Code 1151 she was throwing but aside from the coolant spraying everywhere idk

That looks like a tube either going from the PCV valve area, or one going to the upper intake. I'd have to look at my engine(even though it's V8, it's the same general setup, I believe) to have a better answer.

im stisll holding onto it could be a cracked intake manifold since i think theyre plastic. thats the only optimistic option rather than a head gasket. in which case u sell it and buy a gt
