Default bixenon hid problems

hey guys. i installed a bixenon hid kit on my '04 V6 and i'm having some issues. when i put my low beams on, the lights come on and are low beams as far as i know but my high beam indicator comes on as well. when i turn my high beams on, the lights don't change at all but the high beam indicator gets a little brighter itself. any ideas?

ok lets see what kinda kit is it? normally that means you either need a relay/resistor setup or the wiring isnt right.

well what it sounds like is happening is either the car thinks your bulbs are blown do to the lack of voltage which is where a resistor would be required to trick the computer. or the harness is wired wrong and the hi lo beam wires are criss crossed because i believe thats what happens when you try and put a 9004 bulb in a 9007 harness. so im gonna assume its a wiring fault

so...what can i do about that, flip the pins in the wiring connector? and if my car thinks the bulbs are blown, it would prevent it from using my high beams when triggered?

yeah that would be my reccomendation just check and make sure that the ground is in the right location then try and switch them. i actually have seen a few sets of hids that were wired backwards because my fog lights in my cs are plugged in backwards because plugging them in the right way they wont turn on

of the 3 wires on the connectors...there is colored/black, black, colored/colored. i'm assuming i'm flipping the 2 color combo'd wires and leaving the black in place?
