I'll be getting the SSBC kit from LateModelRestoration.

$307.99 for 4 slotted discs and pads.

I ordered 3 weeks ago and they are being shipping tomorrow(today?) from SSBC. No idea why it's taken so long, but the email from LMR said it's very odd of SSBC to take so long. We'll see how they turn out.

Yeah, the shipping invoice said 7-10 days since it's coming from the manufacturer and not LMR themselves..but now it's been too long so I emailed them last night and got "the plating is getting done today and the part should ship tomorrow.I am so sorry for the delay. " as a reply.

I have no idea why they are plating anything, since I ordered the cheaper of the kits that doesn't have 'xtra life plating' or whatever it is.

Oh well.

That's what I figured lol, but I'll report back in a week or so(if I remember) as to how they are.

IMO I'd rather trust a known company over an ebay company for brakes....but that's just me.

if you want some really really nice pads get EBC green or yellow stuff. they will stop your car very very well. their customer service is amazing too i have never had a problem with them. they make drilled and slotted rotors too and they arent very expensive. i would stay away from that ebay crap they tent to be very crappy.
