Angry Check engine light came on :(

I took my car to the autozone close to me to get the computer read out to see what was wrong. The read out said that "Cylinder 3 missfire" . Ive never had this before but Ive been told its not to expensive.

Im looking for a mechanic that is good and knows Mustangs...any body know a good one around the Hackensack area?

Let me know!

Thanks everyone

Missfire could be any number of things so don't get too worried yet at least. Not too familiar with that area though

misfire could be something simple like a spark plug or bad coil. Check out some of the site vendors and see if they are located near your area

Swap that coil with the one next to it and see if the misfire comes up on that cylinder. If it does then you need a new coil. You just need a 7mm ratchet. Takes 2 seconds

I absolutely agree, these coils are known to wear out.

Hey most likely it's a spark plug. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, take it to Reyco Auto in Fairview (Club Sponsor)

or Rob's Performance in Belleville or any other club sponsor shop.
