Default Engine Swap 4.6 Aluminator or 2011 5.0 motor?

In about 2years time or so will be doing a engine swap on my 2003 GT. I am looking at two different engines. The SVT 4.6 Aluminator engine and the new 5.0 engine. I know that the 5.0 engine puts out 412hp....but am unaware of the output of the aluminator engine.
Aslo would the 5.0 be a direct fit and hookup to the car and the stock transmission without having any problems?

i wouldnt do an aluminator unless you plan on boosting and the 5.0 will be a start from scratch swap where you will need to change absolutely everything

yup the trans wont bolt up i dont believe but beyond that there are alot of things to consider. clutch size and setup. whether the trans bolts up will it handle the power. with in 2 years they might make a swap kit into your car but honestly if you have this kind of question your not capable of a swap like this.

you're better off buying a new 5.0 or a modded S197 then doing the swap. You may actually end up saving money cause once you spend money on the motor, transmission, custom fabrication to make things fit, exhaust, wiring harness, shifter, this and that. You'll end up spending way more then you expect, not to mention the sheer amount of downtime doing this

Aluminator! Will last with more power longer. Forged Rods and Pistons are a very good thing to have if you want more boost! Love that engine!
