Default headlights and foglights after purchasing smoked lights

OK here it is. I recently purchased a set of the dark smoked headlights and foglights from American Muscle, and put my silverstars in them. The light output is worse than the fogged up lights I had in it before. I know they arent going to be as bright because of how dark the light housings are, but the light output was far better with the fogged up light housings. Any suggestions on what bulbs might give me alittle more output? And dont say change the housings because they look way to good against the dark gray paint.lol. I thought about the new zXe bulbs from Sylvania but I have heard nothing but bad things about them. Any ideas guys and gals?

HID is the way to go IMO.

HIDs is the only way, had to do that to Janice's 00 after I bought her smoked headlights.

I need HIDs in mine I want 6k in both lows and fogs. Vince, do you have the hi/lows hid kit ? When I got the car it only had the lows and it's a pain in the ass when I want to let someone go and they can't see me waving my hand.

I've got 6k 35W HID's in headlights and fogs. SUPER bright. And I had a cop tell me I won't get any crap for them because they aren't crazy blue. This pic makes them look more blue than they are IRL. Second pic is about dead on color wise.

Wish it wasn't so cold for that first pic could have been alot better if i wasn't shaking like crazy

Just ordered a kit for my headlights and fogs. My only concern is the fogs. I wonder if the lights will bleed quite a lot since my fogs are round.

OH YES. THERE WILL BE BLOOD.

Lol not quite sure what you mean by "bleed". But the only negative part of the HID's in my stock fogs is that the fogs dont really have a directional beam. So the light goes literally everywhere. Good for seeing but not so much for the oncoming traffic!

LOL no you figured it out. I was referring to the light reflecting everywhere. I'll post pics when I get them.
