I have the hayne's manual as well but I don't really use it that often b/c I really don't need to but I do think it does help so you have an idea on what exactly you are doing, I agree with everyone else that you don't need to pay a shop to do it.

I agree and always have issues removing the last plug, cylinder 6, it's in the worst location on a sixer, just a pita to remove lol as for the Haynes manual it comes really handy when doing electrical work, it has all the wiring diagrams, I relied on it heavily when I installed my viper alarm
