Default long tube headers

can anyone tell me if I can put longtubes on my 02 vert? I went on ebay the otherday and a few said they wont fit verts because of the kmembr brace. Are they all not gonna fit?

You can do long tubes, just go to a real company like kooks or arh

well first off putting long tubes on a 99-04 are a royal pain in the ass. thus being siad you might be forced to lose your kmember brace to fit them. or possibly go with an aftermarket k member brace that is not as big.

they wont be as beneficial as long tubes but they will be easier to fit in there

New Edge GT's WILL have the stock bottom end going bye bye with anything over 420-430 wheel hp.... then it is just a matter of time.

I installed a set of Bassani mid-length headers on my 99 Saleen convertible. What a PITA... I don't see any way to do it without dropping the K-member. I replaced the k-member brace at the same time since mine was bent by the previous owner hitting speedbumps.

If I ever have to do the clutch again, the headers are coming off and staying off. Too much of a PITA for a couple of extra horsepower and the nicer sound.
