Default Mach 1000 audio system

Hey guys this is a really random possibly a stupid question but if i have a friend who is getting rid of his mach 1000 audio system, would i be able to just install it into my car? I have the base audio system, not the mach 460, just the standard audio system with 4 speakers. Are there plugs in the mustangs stock wiring harness that will allow me to just plug the system in? will the stock amp and speakers be able to hold the power of the mach 1000 system, and also would i be able to put the mach 460 or 1000 upper door speakers in and would that require a new door panel or anything?

Besides the obvious need for wiring I can't see why it wouldn't go in. Also if your buddy still has the car he's taking it out of see if you can swap any parts you might need. I think the upper door speakers mount to the panel and it's a separate piece. I'd go check for you but it's pouring outside right now....

i appreciate you willing to go look for me but besides the fact that it is raining outside i wouldnt want you to get wet because of the rain, but when it stops if you could please do that for me so i know because he just wants to take out the factory unit and keep the door speakers because he wants to put in aftermarket subwoofers and a custom speaker box. and besides the fact of the wiring do you think that the plugs are already in the wiring harness? if not wouldnt i just be able to splice the wires?

I'm not to sure on that it might be a different harness entirely. went out and looked. it looks like it might be a whole different door panel but i cant see that making sense

indeed it will be a different setup as I have the same system in my GT and comparing it to the other stock options in addition to the sub in the trunk on the right side the car comes stock with twelve speakers total throughout the car so having to do wiring to get it to function properly is going to require wiring
