Question Odd beeping when key is in the ignition

So this just started yesterday for some reason. When shutting the car off and turn the key to the off position I am hearing a beeping noise. Its not the warning beeping pattern when you leave the lights on, its different. Its only when the key is in the off position. When I turn one notch, it still beeps, then the second notch is the "on" positon which will play the radio, etc.

I cant figure it out. Also when the key is out or in the off position the red theft light keeps flashing. I am not sure it always did that but I could be wrong.

Another thing is that when I press the lock button twice, the horn usually beeps once. Now when I do it it beeps twice rapidly.

Anyone know what this means or the reason. I turned the car off while getting gas and it just kept beeping so I had to take the key out.

Thanks

um well my car does that when a door or trunk is open so open and close everything reset the battery and if that doesnt do it its probably the sensor that senses they are closed

Thanks! Doors and trunk not shuit was the first thing that I thought of too. I double checked all of them and it still does it. I bought my car in November and the interior dome light was not working. I questioned the seller and he said that the door sensor was broken, I wonder if it has anything to do with that.

Im gonna try some PB Blaster when I get home and see if thats the problem.

Update! The beeping has stopped, for no apparent reason either
