i went from factory midpipe with magnaflows, to an O/R Pypes x pipe with magnaflows and the difference in tone/loudness is extremely significant. Only thing with the x pipe though, as opposed to the h pipe, there's a little bit of raspiness at higher RPM's. Hope that helps some.

Also, i don't know if you have your mind set on brand/cat's or no cats, but DO NOT EVEN THINK of buying the Pypes 3 piece xpipe. I did so much cutting/welding on that thing to make it fit, i might as well have put my name on it.

http://www.njstangers.org/forum/1999...lete-8682.html (Stock Mach "H" cat delete)

I thought this would be a temp mod but I can't tell any difference from my MRT catted H so its staying. Works great, been on the car awhile now and I love it. It gets compliments as "the best sounding car I've ever heard!". Stop by to hear it someday. Jim.
