Default Opinions on Modding My 2002 V6 Automatic with about 80,000 miles

I have a 2002 V6 Automatic with about 80,000 miles and I need opinions because I've been thinking alot about it lately. Should I save up some money and put it into this car with performance and appearance mods or should I save it all up and wait two years until I'm out of college to upgrade to a newer Mustang that isn't a V6. If you think I should put it into my current Mustang, any suggestions on the first things I should do? I'd probably like to start with appearance mods, and everything right now is stock. I put a picture of it in this post. I would even be up for a full paintjob if somebody could convince me. Thanks!

Well personally I love that color and 2nd is completely up to you. I think that there is a huge market for parts for the New Edges and you'd have a ball, even now, getting affordable mods here and there from American Muscle or any other vendor. There's just so much you do to the car for a few hundred bucks while with a S197 like mine or a 2011, everything cost so much more lol.

And mileage is nothing if you've taken care of it. My girlfriend's 2000 has about 130k miles and is daily driven and still looks and runs great.

It's totally your preference just eye your options, if you have this one now and can afford a few mods here and there, then go for it.

I have taken great care of it and I would love to mod this one but I'm not really sure where to start with it. I could start with black rims, but I was also thinking about getting this kit http://www.americanmuscle.com/chrome...okit-9904.html

I could start with the cheaper mods since I don't have much money right now, thanks for the input

Oh yeah I agree I can see it with some black bullitts already, and those are interesting too. Even just a Mach1 chin spoiler or something small like that to start is fine. Best way is the browse the products and the image galleries to see how they look on the mustangs. That's one of the benefits of American Muscle that they have the gallery.

Bullitt's would be nice actually, I just checked those out. I've been looking at these http://www.americanmuscle.com/black-...8x10-9404.html Although I'd have to get 18x9's on the front

And the chin spoiler is good too I've never even thought of doing that.

IMO you should start modding your new edge pony, you can always sell it in the future or trade it in. I wouldn't change the color either, I personally love that color but it is up to you

I think you've all helped me settle on modding this one. I like the color as well but I was always unsure about what other people thought of it. Thanks for the feedback everyone, now I just have to decide which mods to do when. Any more suggestions would be great

Forget what other people think about the color of your ride, as long as u like it after all it is your stang. If you want to start with appearance mods you can start with wheels and tires then do headlights, taillights, fog lights, tinted windows, racing stripes, rocker stripes, the list goes on and on.....
