Default Rear end installs?

Does anyone have the tools to do gears and Diff installs. I would rather do it with some one an learn that take it to a shop. Thanks

Well im going to be putting in an solid rear in my 99 and i need to install 4.56 and a diff. Since im putting in gears might as well do the Diff too u know but from what i heard they charge an arm an a leg here in jersey for those installs.

oddly enough, ive been very intrigued by this. understand how its done. All you need is marking compound and a torque wrench. but this isnt a project i wanna undertake at the moment. Id just pay someone and get it over with.

a gear puller? that would be news to me...but maybe. Autozone will rent u one for free.

You also need that depth gauge this to measure the pinion depth or something. I can't remember the name of the dial... I think its called a "dial indicator."

That tool you definitely need to get the gears installed right.

Yea i got a instruction manual on SVTP and its a very in depth job. So I emailed Joe Heck for a quote.
