Default subframe connectors?

ok so I am not satisfied with the way my 2004 mach1 handles. Like crap if you ask me.

Are subframe connectors a good thing? I am not so sure because it does add weight.

Eventually I will install a new suspension at some point as well but from what I understand the subframe connectors increase rigidity which is a good thing.

Any opinions?

hands down get full lengths welded on from maximum motorsports. It makes the car ride better, more predictable. Adds longevity as it strengthens the unibody.

And if the unibody is barely strong enough now, imagine what stiff springs will do to it.

you actually have sub frames on your car now, mach 1's came with short sub frames that were bolted in. adding full length, welded sub frames will definitely help you out

Agreed. You may also want to check out http://www.globalwest.net/ they have a nice full length with jacking rails.

The Global west ones are top notch, and I highly recomend their full system, gets welded into the normal subframe welding locations, but the jacking rail gets welded into the pinch rail which creates an ultra ridgid bracing system.

I am getting these installed today: BMR-SFC011 Subframe connectors, weld-on,****
Some say they are not needed on 05+ but I track my car a lot .. and stiff is good! I think any unibody car can benefit from being stiffer.
