Default Supercharging Question

Hello all,
I'm planning on buying the Vortech V-2 SQ S-Trim for my 04 GT. I'm not going to use the fuel pump supplied (255 Walbro) because it is not for returnless systems. I'm going to go with the SVT Focus Pump. Now for the questions: Vortech supplies the kit with 38# injectors. Should I upgrade to 42# injectors and should I upgrade to the 90mm MAF sensor? Any help would be great.

Well two questions, how much boost are you going to run?
What other support mods do you have?

Honestly there isn't too much difference between those size injectors, I have 41's and I'm good up to 500RWHP.

The car will have O/R X with a Steeda Cat Back, Trick flow Plenum with 70mm throttle body. Probably will upgrade to 75mm TB when I buy the kit.
They supply the 38# but I've heard that they run out of juice around 5000RPM. I dont know this for fact. Thats why I'm asking questions because I don't want to lean her out. GT I sent you a PM.

dont waste your time with the lightning maf, get a sct BA3000 and an air to air intercooler. For fuel system you are going to need an boost a pump if you want anything over 400hp, and a bigger blow off valve, powerpipe, trust me from experience, you might as well get the most hp from the start or you just waste money upgrading everything over again, cause you allways want more hp, if you can get the 42lb injectors then do it but the 39lb should be good up to 430rwhp with these cars.

Which intercooler? I found the Paxton unit for over $2000. If it's gonna gonna cost that much I might as well go with a Kenne Belle. What are you using?

i have a cheap one from cx racing on ebay, which was good for a set up like yours, i was putting out 420 rwhp, i will be changing to a treadstone which is about $400 and works better. When i upgrade i will be close to 600rwhp but i also have forged internals and new heads and cams. If you plan on using the stock block then the cheaper one will work fine for you. You need to figure out what your plans for the car are or you will waste alot of money like i did replacing things, let me know if you need more info on what i had in my old setup. As far as the sc i have the same one you have the s-trim

I thank you for all your help!! What my main worry is like you said wasting money on things that you don't need. When I 1st got the idea I thought you bought the Vortech kit you slapped it on and you were good to go. Then after a little homework I'm finding you have to add this and that. I'm thinking of just getting the 9psi Kenne Belle kit. What are your thoughts on that?

its a good idea to get a kit all pieced and designed to work together, IF you are going to stick with it and have no plans to go any further. I got a Stage 1 kit and i have no desire to ever upgrade, 420RWHP is plenty for my DD
