Default What are best upgrades for my 2002 GT?

Ok, so for my new 2002 Gt, I picked up a tuner, and did Magnaflow Magnapack exhaust. I also picked up a CAI used but couldnt get it to work. So, with xmas coming, i usually get gift cards for AM. What do you guys recommend?? Gears, a new CAI, Throttle body? Looking to keep it to $200 Thanks for advice!! My goal of course is more power!! lol

Are you asking what's the best move out of those items? Depending on the mileage I'd do a serious tune-up first. When I got my 02 and did the tune up it made a huge difference. Out of that list I'd say gears will give you the biggest boost, but you need to consider install cost and also mpg's if that matters to you. Personally I'd probably go with the intake.

Best out of those or anything really. I am leaning towards gears. then have to decide 4.10 or 373. The car sounds sick with exhaust now and with the 93 performance tune it feels strong so just trying to figure out best next mod for car. And I must say, I really love the car! i liked my 96, but this is an entirely different stang!

Yes I agree I did a Borla exhaust, Bama tune, Airaid CAI and 3:73 gears they all improved my performance but the
gears are my pick for #1 but unless you do the install on the gears all the above will be over two hundred dollors

I think I am going with the gears. One of the members on here is going to do them for me for a good price. Now just to decide on 4.10 or 3.73. I am leaning towards 4.10. ANyone know what the 02 GT comes with stock?

I'd definitely say a cai and tune to open it up....if you get a ton of gift cards I highly recommend that, especially from AM where you can get request new tunes after adding any other performance mods.
