Everything I read on the S197 platform is that the calipers will not clear 15" rims without modifications. Supposedly Bogart D10s will fit without modifications but I cannot confirm this.

I dont think 15s would be ok for the rears but 16s would definitely work. What are you looking at, Race Stars? Those are sweet

yea, no

http://www.stangnet.com/mustang-foru...im-2009-a.html

on a 2007+ the rear calipers are different, in order to run a 15" tire you have to grind the caliper and relocate the sway bar unless you have your rims custom made for you. Too much trouble than it's worth to just be able to run slicks at the track. What mods do you have? If you are close to stock slicks won't help you that much anyway. As 10v6stang said, why not go 16s? The 16s will certainly fit and you can get slicks for them as well. You can try to find a set of takeoffs that some kid swapped out for a set of nicer rims and get them for a song.

Those are the Welds that were referred to in the link in my post. They have been in the design stage for nearly 2 years now. From what I read Weld has been working on them and running into problems at nearly every stage of the way, they finally got all the bugs out and were ready to go then Greg Weld died and that put a halt on it. They are supposedly going to be released eventually but I haven't seen anything in my research that says they are out yet.

haha! I put my Mustang knowledge up to your F-Body knowledge!

sorry, i've just been looking for a reason to use that smiley, i'm a nerd.
