Default 2005-09 Mustang Pioneer Avic D3 Antenna Install Issues

Having Antenna issues when trying to install my Pioneer Avic D3 in my 2006 Ford Mustang GT

Pioneer 871003

Im trying to install my Pioneer Avic D3. I come to a problem when trying to connect my antenna . I dont need an antenna adaptor like the V6s its supposed to be just plug in just like my Pioneer p3100. Has anyone experienced this problem it does not fit in .

Had it installed on mine as well....did you get the correct adapters from best buy as well? I know I need it a kit, as for the antenna, mine's alittle messed up from factory but it did go in. Wish I could help more

I believe you have to solder the reverse lights the AVIC-D3 If I am not mistaken. for at least the back up camera. FYI.

what do you mean it doesn't fit? it will plug in or the hole is to small?

you have a v6. you guys need the kit. The 05-06 GT do not need an adaptor and the 07+ GT dont need an addapter with the shaker 1000. I know this because i used to have a v6
