Default 2005+ Mustang 4.0 Nylon timeing chain guides

I have cotton mouth just talking about this.. I borught the car over to a friend at all american ford.. he assessed my rattle and they are saying it is the nylon guides that are gone causing the chain to hit/rattle.. i have no idea what to do or where to go from here.. please help me....

I'd trust 2 shops to work on my car, my dealer here in Caldwell and the Dealer that Shawn works at.

ok haha been there in my motor seen that i highly highly highly doubt the nylon is gone on your guides but what might be happening is your chain tensioner might have gone bad causing the guide not to hold the chain tight leaving slack for it to knock around now i highly reccomend you dont let a dealer tell you this without a secong opinion or at least until i hear it...

im not knocking a dealership its just not that common of a problem and could be very costly...

hey dan im desperate i dont know what to do with this although it is a v6 tho idk if that makes a difference or what.. im lost and dont have the funds to fund this

i have to see a friend of mine that used to work for a ford dealer for 15 years now does his own work he is gunna take a look at it for me @ like 3 so ill should be able to pop over by u before that.. the diag from ford says isolated noise using engine ear found noise on ls of motor and center of motor possibly cassets need to disasemble engine for complete diag.
