Default 2006 transmission swap

Hey guys I'm new to nj stangers I was wondering if anyone could tell me what parts are needed to make my auto 2006 gt trans into a manual. I hate the auto but it was used and cheaper lol someone help me!

every guy that asks me that i give the same advice, you are going to spend a TON more on parts and labor for the swap then you would if you traded cars. I know guyswho did it and its well into the 3-4,000+ range with all the little things adding up unless you find stupidly cheap parts.

Thanks man but that's what I'm lookin to spend I'm 21 and credit isn't good enough yet to buy a new car so this is my second option

its really not that pricey... you need the trans. Tremec 3650 to be exact which will come with the bell housing. then you need the shifter,crossmember, slave cylinder, clutch, flywheel, pil;ot bearing, pedal assembly, master cylinder and hydraulic hoses. if you go on s197forums there are guys doing the opposite swap all the time so you could buy all you need then sell yours and most likely not be out much

hmmm lemme think i mean there would be other odds and ends like a shift boot and knob and you would have to look into whether you have a pcm that would work for both or not. besides that though your pretty much covered
