Default 2010 Ford Mustang GT Tire Size Question/Problem

Ok so, this is the deal : I won an ebay auction for the 2010 Black GT500 Replica Wheels, I got a pretty good deal on them. My problem is, I didn't realize the tire size was wrong for my car. (2010 Mustang GT)

These are the sizes: 275/35/18 (FRONT) and 285/35/18 (REAR)

I went wit the staggered setup. 18x9 and 18x10

I was looking at some rims at americanmuscle.com and they recommend 275/45/18

not 35, will this be a problem? I will be using these rims in the summer only.

Somebody please help. BTW, the rims and tires are brand new, but i think it would be a hassle to sell them and have them removed from the rim.

Are those tires ok for my car? Or is more sidewall needed?

Thanks in advanced.

** Exact Specs**
x2 Black 2010 GT500 Wheel 05-11 (18x10)
With x2 Sumitomo High Performance HTR Z II Tires (285/35-18) mounted on them.

x1 Black 2010 GT500 Wheel 05-11 (18x9)
With x1 Sumitomo High Performance HTR Z II Tire (275/35-18) mounted on it.

(Yes i only bought 3, it was a good deal, I purchased a (1) rim from american muscle.)

well....technically it'll give you a lowered appeal and more space in the fender which you can change by lowering the Mustang but either way its not much of a difference at all, you could always replace them later on with different tires. I wouldn't worry about it....your talking to a guy with 18x10s all around and super beefy tires to fill up the fender walls lol

Yea, Im afraid It will look dumb with all that space in the fender....

It's my fault for not reading closely.

I guess I'll leave it like that until it's time to get new tires. Or I will try to sell them......

yea I want springs, but Paterson has to have the worst roads in NJ, My stock suspension drives like a dream, SO i rather just get beefier tires.. to fill the well.....

That looks sick BTW!

hmmm well the 275s are a tad wide for the front i have that same staggered setup with a 255 in the front so that might a bit much the 35s on the other hand wont be to bad but will the ride a bit rougher because of the lack of rubber

Ok so what would be the best tire setup, I've decided on just purchasing new tires

Initially, I was doing 255/45/18 and 285/40/18 on 9.5 and 10" rims. Opted for the 275's since they were cheaper for one, and the same sized 9.5 rims and tires can be rotated. The 275's fit perfectly on the frt.

The roads here are open, long straights, nice curves and hills. All black topped, mostly all new. I think I could get into the stiffer ride and the lower look would be wicked.
