I wish gears were an easy change. I change my tires often. (Track, winter, summer) .. I would love to swap out gears when I go on the track. I have 355 limited slip. On the road course in West Virginia I hit 130. I think 410 gears will hurt. At Monticello on the small course 100 is the absolute max. There I wish I had 410's. I think if I had a 6 speed 410's would be the perfect all around gear.

im going to school for mechanical engineering. ill work on that ha. maybe like interchangeable pumpkins?

I think you just found your first design project. Take the design of a 9inch with the drop out pumpkin and apply the concept to an 8.8.

Easiest gears in the world to change are in Winters rears. We use them in sprint and modified racers. You can change gears in under 5 minutes and there are I think 30 or so sets to choose from

yeah that would be sweet. i wish we could remove our whole center section in one shot and do the gear change on the bench.
