Default Ball joint issue .. .maybe ...

I have over 100K on my 08. When I slow done I hear and maybe feel a slight rumble. Its not the brakes. It was there before my new brakes and after. Any ideas?

I have always had slotted rotors. To be honest I thought it was my brakes. I wore them down pretty far on my last track day. So after the track day on April 2nd I noticed it. Now I have all new brakes and I still feel/hear it. I even turned my car off going down a hill to hear it. It's not loud but it just seems different

Well its pretty easy to check those kinds of things. Its probably more likely a wheel bearing. jack up the car and check for play. if there is play up and down its most likely a ball joint but if there is side to side play its more likely a wheel bearing.

Did you mean ball joint for one of these? I suspect a typo!

As Dan pointed out, it is easily figured out. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

ball joints i've seen other guys have fail in under 25k miles so 100k wouldn't surprise me tbh

Is that an expensive fix?

Yes (although 'expensive' is a relative term). The whole front lower control arm must be changed. The arm is expensive. Add labor and it's even more. I believe the aftermarket LCAs allow for just the ball joint to be changed (I hope!).
