Default Brakes

what would ppl recommend for the best brakes because ive changed my brakes 3 times since ive have the car for 2.5 years and now going for a 4th and only have 30.000 miles in the car..... the ford dealers told me they "dont do" any other brakes than the stock one and they said i should "slow down" and "stop robbing banks" i quote lol

if you were to "slow down" you'd be going through pads quicker.. How about a parachute?

but seriously.. Try AutoZone or Parts America, they normally give you a 3 year warrantee so when you burn through them, you can just go get new ones free.
Oh, and be sure to bed them correctly... each company of pads/rotors recommends something a little different.

lol Ford ones work too, depends on how much city/highway driving he does...don't pay a place to change your pads....if anything....they charge $200 for a brake job, I did mine for free, all i did was buy the parts from a Ford Dealer at our club discount price

Just make sure you are ready for the dirt that Hawk pads can cause. For me .. it is so worth it. A little cleaning but great stopping power. Seems like a good trade off. How did you toast your back rotors? Overactive traction control? On that subject, does any one know how to have the traction control on an 08 to default to off. With a limited slip ... I dont see the reason for it.
