Not really, just purely looks I think...may keep the engine a little colder I think. Thankfully I paid no where near retail for it....I bought it new off a forum for a fraction of the cost.

SCT Sticker is off...getting a new CAI Installed for Spring as well...so no more C&L

Yeah? I found someone on Craigslist selling it for $300 for my engine. I almost bit but people said it's really not a power adder.

That's a really good deal for it. You can probably even get it for less, then it's just cutting your hood. I had a good friday on here cut it for me since I trusted him with it.

That's the only part that scares me, someone cutting my hood. I know I've only had the car for 3 months but I kind of like it to not have unnecessary holes. LOL I think the shaker looks awesome on your car and since mine looks similar I know it would look sweet on mine too.

Oh yeah I completely agree and thank you. I really like it. I have to do some under touches to trimming before next car show season since it's coming off already but that's just something simple. My friend whose on here, cut the huge engine cover that comes with it to give it a clean underhood look:

So where does the air from the shaker go? Since the cold air intake is still connected? BTW I am jealous your car get's to sleep for the winter. I need to save up for a 2nd car so mine can too.

The Air from the Shaker pretty much goes right to the CAI which gives it more Cold Air (supposedly). I have to re-do mine and not use that piping, I'll have all winter to figure out...just wish I had a garage so i wouldn't freeze my hands while trying to plan the setup of it all.

Yeah I thank my Uncle everyday for that, best investment I ever made especially for what I paid for it even if I had to drive to A.C. and buy it through a private sale, it was worth it. Highly recommend a 2nd car, even a cheap beater as long as it runs good and maintenance won't be too expensive.

it isnt so bad too bad to cut. the template is really accurate. measure twice. use lots of tape. change out blades to jigsaw and make sure they are new and sharp. Dont let the saw jump! The hood is aluminum and will dent very easily.

Or ... drive it out to AZ and I will do it for you in an hour.

OR... A body shop will do it prob for around 300 is my guess.
