ancient thread coming back to life here.

I have Geico Eddie and they have an option for customizations done to your car, they rejected my "E-Force" option but i have my wheels, brembos, exhaust, and lightbar all covered for almost $5000 total and it cost me ~$200 extra a year. I got it cause its only $200 and if something happens, replacing stuff especially near the front will get costly really quick

I didn't know this was an option but have been thinking about it. I mean, what happens if the car is wrecked and I've dumped a whole bunch of extras into it? :s

Yea they didn't formally inform me but i put down $7,500 for it since its a $6,500 kit plus the CAI and the GT500 pumps which are $1,150 by themselves. And when my policy got upgraded it wasn't there, just a void, so i covered the brembos instead since they aren't cheap, even though i got them 50% off.

I believe Geico has customization limits, $5,00 or $10,000 i forget. Progressive i heard is the more modification friendly insurance, but when the time comes i'll eventually get Haggardy on the car, but i still wanna drive it often so that'll be down the road.

When i got into my accident the Geico adjuster covered my stripes even though they weren't on the policy. It really depends on the person. I however asked them to just pay the $$ for the stripes to me and for me to have my guy do the stripes, but he wanted too much, i told him to screw and i pulled the stripes off myself.
