Default Does my car have 3.73 Gears?

I have just purchased this car, and I hear alot about 3.73 gears and how good they are. I was wondering, I found the PDF for my car and I wanted to ask you guys if indeed my car had the 3.73 gears installed?

Does that mean that It could have been installed or it is installed?

By the way, I got this car used for about $21K, with 20K miles.

according to your window sticker yes you do have them but best way to check is to look at the girdle and there would be a sticker on it that would say 3:73

AWESOME! I checked under my car and there was a sticker with 3.73 printed on it. Now how exactly do these gears benefit performance wise?

Sounds good, this is what I have for my 05 and I recommend: http://www.americanmuscle.com/cnl-sct-2010gt-kit.html

I really like the C&L and the tunes from the SCT 3 are worth plus this newer one tell you what each engine code your car may throw is....mine just gives me a code number. I think others can agree, C&L seems to be one of the most popular.

I like the Diablosport Dash Pod version of the tuner with all the cool stuff buts its more expensive:

and SCT has one too:
