Default Ford racing GT Springs

Ok, so my boyfriend, and by relation, me, is best friends with GT300. He has the Ford Racing suspension but recently upgraded the springs to H&R.
I'd like to buy them from him, but would they fit my car? I don't know the spring ratings off hand but does the difference in engine size (weight) affect the drop?
I've seen spring kits from Eibach that say fit "GT and V6" models so I'd like to assume they're the same.
Also, I have his GT sway bars in my car

Hmm, it may raise your front end a bit. I went with the Roush Coilovers which are made for GTs but since they are adjustable I was going to adjust the front one lower to even out the car, that may be the only issue.

I don't know the exact weight of the V6, but it can't be much less than the V8. Usually, there would be a big difference with the spring rate, which would cause a difference in the drop, but since the cars are likely very close in weight, you should be fine. Now, if you were talking about using GT500 springs, there would be a HUGE difference, due to the much heavier weight, and different weight distribution (because of the iron block up front).

the FRPP springs part of the handling package lower 1.5 inches, it may just lower you slightly less which tbh i wouldn't really notice too much all things considered. the thing is though, once you lower it you have other things to consider:

New strut mounts
Cast and camber bolts
adjustable panhard bar
shocks
struts
