Default fuel options

does anyone know if race fuel at the strip is compatible with a v6 stock engine or will it ruin the motor?

you dont need a tune for higher octanes, you would need a tune to get the proper gaines from the fuel. But even if you had a race fuel tune it wouldnt make the cost of the fuel worth the power gain and it could foul your plugs if you arent set up for it.

race gas is leaded, so you cant use it with o2 sensors or cats as it will damage them. as for octane itself 92/93 super is more than enough for your v6 vortech anything beyond that is just a waste of money.

There is unleaded race gas....I used it in my 10 sec 07 GT. But no way do you need it for your application. Like you said...put some 93 in and have fun!!
