anyone have any suggestions for gears? I have the 3.55's right now and am considering upgrading. How difficult is the install? thanks.

only buy FRPP gears I don't think they offer 3.90 go with 4.10s

Nope for 3.90 you would need to go either motive or Richmond. Just do frpp a gears in 4.10 you wont regret it

how bad is the gas mileage tho? I drive a lot of highway..

I'd go with 4.10's with a manual trans. I've had them for about a year now and they are a blast.

If you're anywhere near Toms River, stop by and you can take mine for a spin.

I wouldn't suggest doing the install on your own, unless you know your way around an 8.8.

My highway milage actually went up after going with 4.10's. Around town suffered a bit though...
