Default How much horsepower does my 2010 V6 Mustang have with these mods?

hey guys/girls of NJS...just wondering if anyone would have a ballpark figure of what my current setup is gonna give me for returns...(Been hard at work this winter putting some umph into my 4.0):

BBK shorty headers
Pypes dual exhaust including x pipe
MMR stage 2 CAI
Steeda TB spacer
BBK 70mm throttle body
SCT tune

any ideas?

hmm building a 4.0 huh? throw a turbo or a blower on there with a built motor you could hit 400 hp relatively easily right now your probably 220 i think gotta ask jonathon he has his dynoed but without headers you auto or stick?

unfortunately auto...when i had a chance to get a 2010 grabber at an amazing deal ($18,100 out the door this past august), i had to bite. i've known since i bought it that i wanted to do things to it so, adding to the list isn't uncommon. what's a recommendation? vortech? xcharger? btw, is nitrous a valid option to help with hp as well?

i'd say about 210 at the tires. Jon has 200 flat with his CAI and tune, but he also has 3.73's which drop HP a few so you may be as high as 215+. only one real way to know

well it comes with 210 crank. though your 5R55S trans you should lose approx 15% (some more some less). so figure 210 * .85= 178.5 RWHP stock.

Your CAI and tune is the best mod you can do for gaining power. the dual will free up a nice amount about 5 to 7 approx. the shorty headers i'm not sure on the V6, i know on the GT they are like 1-3 HP. As for the TB and spacer, i'm not a fan of them to begin with cause of tuning issues, but i'd imagine you'd make another 5 or so from that.

The 4.0 V6 lacks as many bolts ons. after the CAI and tune plus exhaust, you really are left with the blower or turbo for power.

a heck of a lot more, and it would also be about the same price, maybe cheaper.

A blower will bolt on 100+ easy. drop a pulley size and you'll net even more power.

thats not a lot of money all things considered. you're talking 300+ RWHP easy with that kit, or the Vortech one if Centrifugal is your style
