Default If I take my car in for service to a dealer, should I re-tune the computer to stock?

I was wondering of I should put the stock tune back on my car if I am going to have a dealer service it, yes would be your best option, depending on what you are having done to it.

since you've got an 07 like me, unless you purchased an additional warranty, yours is gone on everything but the powertrain, which you may have gone over the miles anyway.

Honestly i wouldn't even bother with it, a tune really doesn't do squat to harm your car unless you run a garbage tune which i doubt you'd be running

There's no harm in putting it back to stock first...you wouldn't want to say that you voided your warranty because of a tune. Once they put that on record you have voided the warranty...wouldn't want to do that on an extended one!

I doubt they would be messing with the computer if you are bringing it in for a leak issue. But if you are concerned just put it back to stock if you can then load the tune once you get it back.
