Default Installed new clutch

Finally got me Spec 3+ with aluminum flywheel put in.
First impression:
Clutch pedal feels much lighter, the clutch grabs really hard, it chatters when you leyt it slip but they tell me that will go away once it's broken in. The aluminum flywheel makes the engine spin up really quick and the car takes off like a rocket when I get into it hard.
So far I am happy
Oh yea since I have the blower on it Tillman took the motor mounts out and slid the whole engine forward to get the trans out instead of taking the blower off.
Cost me $576.10 for labor, pilot bearing and PA tax (not too bad for all the work they did)

The guy said 875.00 in parts alone
no performance parts are available for the v6

Im going to ask the guys at downs ford for prices

This includes clutch.pressure plate pilot bearing and the slave cylinder

Sounds steep. I got my clutch from American Muscle. Clutch and flywheel where around $650.00 (I think) and then $576.00 for the labor. Mine was more because of the blower, clutch install on a V8 is about $450.00 at Tillman. Give them a call, they are pretty resonable with pricing and Mike and Chris T are great mechanics...........
Here is the one for yours: http://www.americanmuscle.com/spec-s...utch-05v6.html

Nah, Tillman is a speed shop that specializes in Mustangs (and now Camaro's). Does custom installs tuning and such................www.shoptillman.com, ask for Chris Rose.
Why a new flywheel? Can't resurface the old one?
Stock will work with the Spec clutch, I just used the billet aluminum for performance reasons because it spins up faster.
