Question Installing vinyl racing stripes

I know that lots of you have probably put on stripes yourself, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a local shop (either in central NJ or Bucks County PA) that would put the stripes on for me. I did some digging online but got no definitive answer - a lot of the places that sell the stripes recommend professional installation, but they're in California!

I had my brother put a hood decal on my '99 for me, but that was small and relatively easy. Because the stripes go over the whole car and need to be straight, I wouldn't ask him to do it. He is already installing my new grille for me and I can only ask so much of the man!

I thought you guys might know of a place. Or if any of you have done your own and would be willing to do mine for a reasonable price, let me know. Thanks!

I think tronix will to it see if they have any local shops near you. its really not worth it to o full stripes yourself. especially if you have a fixed roof and have to put them on that too. its crazy hard to get them right. and if you're ocd like me and see any little variance in the lines you go nuts after a while lol. not even going to get into the bubbles you'll have to battle...

I'm working with a very reputable place on RT 33 in Hamilton. They do all Haldeman Fords stripping and lots of local police departments. LOL!

Here's the link. Please let me know if you choose to use them.

Did you buy the strpes from another place or is the shop actually making them for you?

that shop is making the stripes...CUSTOM...I'm excited (can you tell?) Also, theres a guy at Norman's Glass on rt. 130 in Burlington...he might do it for you...don't remember his name but his price was reasonable. And someone told me that Vigg Designs in Freehold was good..don't know whether or not they'd put someone elses stripes on but you can check them all out.

Yes that was my concern - A) the hassle and B) I wouldn't be happy unless it was perfect. I'm glad to hear someone else recommend having a professional do it.

I'm not surprised you're excited. I'm excited just thinking about doing mine. My concern is the cost - you can get the stripes online for about $100-$150. Having a custom place make and install them must be a lot more money.

Thanks for the info on the other places.
