I thought you were trying to tell him, "don't worry, do it" which, unfortunately seems to be the prevailing opinion among most people. So, sorry about the long winded explanation, lol. But yes, look for a mod friendly dealer, factor things like that into your decision.

any experiences ive had (quite a few) with ford racing parts installed at authorized ford racing dealers is bad. I took the time and money to go to such dealers. You get inferior parts, inferior service and they laugh when you discuss warranty.

That is unless you go to Downs Ford. Theyre the only dealership I wouldnt suicide bomb.

Fact is (sorry for not reading the whole thread) pick a tuner that you like. We hadve a good relationship here with blowby racing. Buy a CAI/tuner/tune combo from them. That way you get an intake that your tuner is familiar with, a tuner that your shop can actually use, and a tune thats just right for the mods you have.

Done, no muss, no fuss. Now move on to real mods.

if ur buying tuner and tune from bbr and a random intake from elsewhere, you're missing the point.

for one you'll get a package price on everything. and also you want to make sure u get an intake that bbr has worked wiht and has a tune for : )~
