Default JLT, C&L and FRPP CAI

I know this has been beaten to death, but which CAI is better? I have heard that JLT is just as good and cheaper then the C&L. I also have heard all CAI's do about the same...and one (in my eyes) attractive CAI is Ford Racing's..

I do what the best bang for the buck - I just like the way the Ford Racing one looks. So if C&L or JLT is better, PLEASE let me know. And yes I am getting a tune with it, but possibly looking to order this soon.

Also, how hard is it to install? Any installation tips?

Appreciate it.

I like the C&L but definitely do like the casing for the Ford Racing one....wonder if it would work with any other intake.

i feel like the ford racing one cant be the best because the intake tube has more bends and its not smooth

The 'tube' for that Ford Racing one is also the same as stock so the only difference would really be the filter.

+1 on JLT though. They have set up some pretty damn sweet rides.

Would that WMS intake work with a stock hood???

I agree with the bends not being good, but smooth isn't always better...turbulent air is good for atomization...

Stay away from metal intakes..they retain heat...you want your intake charge as cool as possible.

As stated above the WMS one looks trick and is a nice shot to the throttle body...

JLT..I'm not a fan..

C7L is nice, but go for the racer one...not the aluminum one...

i like the wms myself for looks but i went with the roush / air raid setup because i new i wanted a shaker setup and it worked the best with it as far as fabricating it all to integrate together. the wms is a bit more involved installation wise than any other but it looks pretty cool. they all post about the same numbers regardless.
