Default MGW shifter throw setting?

Hello,

Has anyone experimented with throw adjustment setting of the MGW shifter? I'm going from stock. Is the maximum reduction too severe for most drivers in an everyday situation? Is the minimum that noticeable? What type of setting do most drivers choose? Sorry but I have no experience with this type of mod at all. Thank you.

I use 6 too.. Its harder to shift, the shorter the throw. You are losing the leverage as you make the throw shorter.

I've got mine set to 6, but after I'm done with grad school this weekend (and thus have more time), I'm going to experiment a little. I like the short throw and the notchiness to it, but want to see what else I've got...
